Jonas Brothers Say Reunion “Is Something We Really Want to Do Together”

Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas reveal in a new interview with Paper why they really decided to reunite the band. “The choice to do this wasn’t out of need, it was more, ‘This is something we really want to do together,’” Kevin reveals. Nick goes on to explain that taking the time to grow as people helped them develop a more grown-up Jonas Brothers sound. “It really took the last six, seven years to figure out who we were as people and what kind of music we wanted to make,” he notes. “A lot of young performers find this transition into adulthood really challenging.” He adds, “If we had continued to try to push things forward the way we were operating, it might have been difficult…I think the world is more accepting of us as adults than they would have been if we insisted, ‘This is who we are now, accept us.'”
