Kendrick Lamar Disses Drake, Jokes About Taylor Swift-Katy Perry Feud

In the new issue of Rolling Stone, Kendrick Lamar appears to take a swipe at his rival Drake and again insinuate that he uses a ghostwriter. “I called myself the best rapper. I cannot call myself the best rapper if I have a ghostwriter,“ he declares. “If you’re saying you’re a different type of artist and you don’t really care about the art form of being the best rapper, then so be it. Make great music. But the title, it won’t be there.“ Elsewhere in the interview, Lamar claims he had no idea when he agreed to work with Taylor Swift on the “Bad Blood“ remix that it was about Katy Perry. “No, I wasn’t aware of that, bro. That’s a great question,“ he says. “No! On the record, no. Which makes it even more funny now, for sure. That’s far beyond my concern. He adds with a laugh, “I have to stay away from that, for sure. That’s some real beef.“
