Justin Timberlake’s Man of the Woods Debuts at #1

Justin Timberlake’s new album Man of the Woods debuted at #1 this week, following his headlining performance during halftime of Super Bowl 52. Billboard reports that the LP opened with 293,000 total copies, including 242,000 traditional copies, in its first week on shelves. Timberlake also moved 15,000 vinyl versions of the album, a number bolstered by a Target exclusive that offered the LP on translucent orange vinyl. Man of the Woods marks Timberlake’s fourth consecutive #1 album, following both parts of 2013’s The 20/20 Experience and 2006’s FutureSex/LoveSounds; the singer’s debut LP Justified peaked at #2 in 2002.
