Chainsmokers Recruit Florida Georgia Line for New Song

The Chainsmokers revealed this week that their forthcoming debut album Memories… Do Not Open will feature a collaboration with Florida Georgia Line. Rolling Stone Country reports that the electronic music duo shared the news by posting a photo of the album’s track list on Instagram, which includes the FGL-assisted “Last Day Alive.” “They gave us a call and it kind of had to be done within 48 hours,“ FGL’s Brian Kelley says of working with the Chainsmokers. “So we spent all day and all night on this track and just put everything in it like we always do.“ Kelley adds that the track is filled with “good energy.” Memories… Do Not Open is due out on April 7 and also features collaborations with Halsey, Coldplay and Jhene Aiko.
